Brightpearl runs your retail operation. We connect whatever it doesn't cover natively.

Brightpearl, now part of Sage, is a retail operations platform built for multichannel and wholesale retailers: order management, inventory, warehouse operations, and its own built-in accounting, with native connections to channels like Shopify, Amazon, and eBay. It's purpose-built for retail, not generic business software. We build the integrations outside Brightpearl's native app list, and the custom logic a prebuilt connector doesn't handle, so orders, stock, and cash all land correctly without someone reconciling it by hand.

What we build on top of Brightpearl

Brightpearl's app store covers the big retail channels well. For a channel it doesn't list, a niche marketplace, a B2B portal, a custom storefront, we build the connection so orders and stock updates flow the same way a native integration would.

Brightpearl ships its own automation engine for order rules, but it only knows what's inside Brightpearl. We extend those rules with data from outside it, a fraud-screening service, a 3PL's shipping status, a wholesale customer's credit terms held in a separate CRM, so the automation reflects the whole picture, not just Brightpearl's slice of it.

Because Brightpearl has its own accounting module built in, retailers running it often still need numbers to reach a separate system, a parent company's consolidated books, a tax or reporting tool, which we build as a direct feed instead of a manual export someone runs every month.

Brightpearl's documented API is what makes this practical. We use it to pull order, inventory, and margin data into whatever reporting tool leadership actually wants to look at, and to push updates back in when something changes outside Brightpearl first.

What we've built on top of Brightpearl

Channel connections outside the app store

Orders and stock updates from a marketplace, portal, or custom storefront Brightpearl doesn't natively support flow in and out the same way a built-in connector would.

Automation rules that see outside Brightpearl

Order and fulfillment rules that factor in data Brightpearl itself doesn't hold, a 3PL status, a credit check, a separate CRM record, instead of rules limited to what's already inside the platform.

Running Brightpearl and still bridging a gap it doesn't cover on its own?

Tell us which channel, report, or manual step sits outside what Brightpearl's native connectors handle. And if Brightpearl isn't actually where the friction is, that's fine too, we build automation on whatever's manual in the business, not just this one platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Brightpearl?+
Brightpearl is a retail operations platform, now owned by Sage, built for multichannel and wholesale retailers. It covers order management, inventory, warehouse operations, and its own built-in accounting, with native connections to major retail channels like Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
Does Brightpearl do accounting, or is it just inventory?+
Brightpearl includes its own built-in accounting, invoicing, purchasing, and financial reporting, not just inventory and order management. That's a real difference from a pure inventory tool, and it's part of why it's positioned specifically for retail operations rather than as a general warehouse or stock system.
How much does Brightpearl cost?+
Brightpearl doesn't publish flat pricing. Cost depends on order volume, channels connected, and which modules you need, so you'll want a current quote directly from Brightpearl or Sage rather than relying on an old figure.
Does Brightpearl integrate with Shopify?+
Yes, Brightpearl has a native Shopify integration, along with connections to other major retail channels like Amazon and eBay, as part of its core positioning around multichannel retail.
Does Brightpearl have an API?+
Yes, Brightpearl has a documented API, which is what makes custom integration work practical for channels or systems outside its native app store, rather than relying only on prebuilt connectors.
