Veradigm Runs the Billing Behind Your Old Allscripts System. We Connect the Rest.
Veradigm is the company Allscripts became in January 2022, and if a practice bought its EHR or practice management software under the Allscripts name, it's running a Veradigm product today, whatever the login screen still says. We don't sell or administer Veradigm. What we build sits around it: the claims, intake, and reporting handoffs between Veradigm and everything else the practice runs.
What we build on top of Veradigm
Plenty of staff still call it "the Allscripts system" even though the company behind it renamed itself Veradigm years ago, and some of the products did too, Allscripts Professional EHR is now marketed as Veradigm EHR, for instance. Whatever the login screen says, the practice management and billing data inside it has the same gap: it stays inside the system until something connects it to everything else the practice runs.
Billing is usually the sharpest edge. Claims and remittance data tracks fine inside the practice management module, but getting it into QuickBooks or wherever the practice's books actually live is typically a manual export every week. We build that sync, and flag claims aging past a point someone sets, so billing staff catch a denial early instead of during a month-end scramble.
Referral and intake data has the same shape. A new patient coming through a referral or a web form shouldn't mean someone retyping their details into the practice management screen. We build the handoff so that information lands in the right record automatically.
Practices running more than one provider or location on the same system hit the same reporting gap every week, pulling claims and scheduling data out separately to build one picture for whoever's running the practice. We build that rollup once instead.
Where this shows up in practice
Claims data, synced where the books live
Billing and remittance data from your practice management system syncs to QuickBooks or your accounting system, with aging claims flagged before they become a write-off.
Referral and intake data, captured once
A referral or new-patient form creates the right record in the practice management system automatically, instead of landing on someone's desk to retype.
What's still manual between your old Allscripts system and the rest of the practice?
A referral list tracked in a spreadsheet, a claims report rebuilt by hand every week, a denial that surfaces a month too late: tell us what it is and we'll look at what's actually possible.
Still running practice management software under its old Allscripts name and reconciling its billing by hand?
Tell us what's not connected right now, claims, referrals, a report someone rebuilds every week. And if that system isn't actually where the friction lives, that's fine too. Whatever's manual in the practice is fair game, not just one system with a new name.
