Salesforce Commerce Cloud Runs Your Storefront. We Connect It to the Rest of Your Business.
Salesforce Commerce Cloud is Salesforce's e-commerce platform, built from its acquisition of Demandware, with separate editions for consumer (B2C) and wholesale (B2B) storefronts. It runs on the Salesforce platform, but it's a different product from Salesforce's CRM, even sold and used by businesses that have never touched the CRM side at all. We connect Commerce Cloud to the ERP and accounting systems a business runs alongside it, and if that business also runs Salesforce CRM, we bring order and customer data into the same place sales and support already work.
What we build on top of Commerce Cloud
The most common gap is orders and inventory reaching your books. Commerce Cloud handles the storefront and checkout well, but it isn't your accounting system, so orders still need to land in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or whatever you run for that, with stock levels flowing back the other way.
The second is a surprise for a lot of businesses: running both Commerce Cloud and Salesforce's CRM doesn't automatically mean they talk to each other the way the shared "Salesforce" name suggests. They're separate products built on the same platform, and a support agent working a case in Service Cloud usually can't see a customer's order history from Commerce Cloud without someone building that connection on purpose.
The third applies to businesses running Commerce Cloud's B2B edition: company accounts, negotiated pricing, and approval workflows that live in the storefront but need to reach your accounting system for invoicing and contract terms to stay accurate.
Where this shows up in practice
Order history, visible inside your CRM
A customer's order history and cart activity from Commerce Cloud shows up right inside the account or case record in your Salesforce CRM, so a support agent or rep doesn't have to ask or go looking.
Orders and inventory synced to your books
Orders placed in Commerce Cloud land in your accounting or ERP system automatically, with stock levels flowing back out, instead of someone exporting a report to keep the two in sync.
What's not connected to your Commerce Cloud store yet?
Your accounting system, your CRM, a B2B account that needs its pricing terms to actually match what gets invoiced: tell us what it is and we'll look at what Commerce Cloud's APIs can expose for it.
Running Commerce Cloud and still keeping your books or your CRM updated by hand?
Tell us what's not connected, your accounting system, a CRM that should already see this data but doesn't, a B2B account whose terms live in two places, and we'll look at what Commerce Cloud's own APIs can expose for it. And if the storefront isn't actually where your manual work is, that's fine too. We connect whatever your business runs, on Salesforce or anywhere else.
