Wix Stores handles the checkout. What happens to the order after that?
Wix is a website builder first, and Wix Stores is the e-commerce layer you add to it: products, cart, checkout, payments. That part works fine out of the box for most small catalogs. What Wix doesn't do is connect that order to your accounting, your inventory, or your CRM once the sale happens - we build that connection for businesses already selling through Wix who are past the point of doing it by hand.
What we build on top of Wix Stores
Wix's own App Market has a handful of connector apps for popular tools, and they're worth trying first. They tend to sync one thing (a customer record, an order total) in one direction, and they stop being enough the moment your process has a condition the app wasn't built to handle: different tax treatment by state, a product that needs approval before it ships, inventory that lives in a system Wix has never heard of.
That's usually where we get a call. A Wix order coming in triggers an invoice in QuickBooks or Xero automatically, taxes and shipping mapped the way your books actually need them, instead of someone re-typing the order into the accounting software at the end of the week.
If you sell the same products somewhere else too, a physical counter, Etsy, a wholesale list, we keep stock numbers consistent across all of it so Wix never sells something that's already gone.
New Wix customer, new CRM record, purchase history attached, no one exporting a CSV of orders once a month to keep sales in the loop.
What this usually looks like
Order-to-books handoff
A Wix order becomes a QuickBooks or Xero invoice the moment it's placed, line items and tax mapped correctly, no manual entry and no end-of-week catch-up.
Stock that stays honest across channels
If Wix is one of several places you sell, inventory updates everywhere the moment something sells anywhere, so Wix never shows something as in stock that's already gone.
What's actually manual once a Wix order comes in?
Tell us what happens between checkout and the order being done, invoiced, shipped, logged in your CRM. We'll look at what's eating the time.
Running a store on Wix and doing the rest by hand?
Wix will keep taking the orders fine on its own. What matters is what happens to each one afterward, and whether a person has to touch it to make that happen. Walk us through your process and we'll show you where it stops being necessary.
