PracticePanther Runs Your Matters, Time, and Billing. We Connect the Rest.
PracticePanther is cloud-based legal practice management software covering matters, time tracking, billing, and a client portal, built with solo and small-firm pricing and ease of use in mind. We don't sell or set up PracticePanther. We build the automation and integrations on top of it, connecting it to a firm's accounting, document, and communication tools.
What we build on top of PracticePanther
PracticePanther keeps matters, time, and billing organized well inside the platform itself. The gap shows up the moment any of that data needs to leave PracticePanther and land somewhere else correctly.
Time entries that become invoices without a manual review pass. Time logged against a matter flows into the firm's invoice run on schedule, with exceptions, a missing note, an unusual rate, flagged for a person instead of every line needing a look.
Client portal updates that reach people outside PracticePanther too. PracticePanther's own client portal covers documents and invoices well; where a firm wants a client or referral source updated somewhere else at the same time, a text, an email, a CRM note, we build that extra layer rather than asking PracticePanther to cover it natively.
A real connection where PracticePanther doesn't have one. PracticePanther has its own native integrations, but plenty of firms run tools it doesn't connect to out of the box, a firm-wide accounting platform, a dedicated marketing CRM, a document management system. We build that specific connection using PracticePanther's API.
Where this shows up in practice
Billing that only needs a look when something's off
Standard time entries roll into the monthly invoice run on their own. A rate override, a missing narrative, or unbilled time past a threshold gets flagged for a biller instead of every entry needing a manual pass.
A matter closes, the paperwork follows
A matter marked closed in PracticePanther triggers the final invoice, the client's closing letter, and the archive step, pulled straight from the matter record instead of a staff member working through a checklist by hand.
What's PracticePanther not talking to at your firm yet?
Tell us what you're exporting or re-typing between PracticePanther and your accounting, document, or marketing tools. We'll scope out a specific connection, not a generic one.
Running PracticePanther and still moving data to other systems by hand?
Tell us what's not connected yet, your accounting software, a document system, a marketing tool tracking leads before they become matters. We'll look at what PracticePanther's own API can actually support. And if PracticePanther isn't where the real friction is, that's fine too, the same question applies to anything else running manually in your firm.
