MyCase

MyCase Handles the Case and the Client Portal. We Connect What Feeds Both.

MyCase is cloud-based legal practice management software built around a client-facing portal: matters, billing, documents, and calendaring live in one system, and clients get their own login to check status, pay invoices, and message the firm instead of calling. We don't sell, implement, or configure MyCase. We build the automation that connects it to the rest of a firm's systems, so what happens inside MyCase reaches accounting, intake, and communication tools without someone bridging the gap by hand.

What we build on top of MyCase

MyCase does matter tracking and client communication well inside its own walls. The real time cost shows up at the edges, where something that started outside MyCase has to get typed in, or something that happened inside it has to get relayed somewhere else.

Intake that skips the re-typing. A call, a web form, or a referral still usually gets written down first and entered into MyCase as a second step later. We connect your intake source directly to MyCase so the new matter and contact get created automatically, with the details already in place.

Billing data that reaches your books on its own. MyCase handles invoicing and payments, but a firm's broader accounting usually lives in a separate system. We build the sync that moves invoice and payment data from MyCase into your accounting software so nobody's reconciling two systems by hand at month end.

Portal activity that doesn't require a MyCase login to notice. A client message or a signed document in the portal is easy to miss if checking MyCase isn't someone's full-time job. We route that activity into whatever your staff actually has open, email, a task board, a phone system, so nothing sits unread.

Where this shows up in practice

Intake form, matter created on its own

A prospective client fills out the firm's intake form, and the matter and contact already exist in MyCase by the time anyone opens it, instead of a staff member transcribing the form by hand first thing in the morning.

Billing that closes itself out monthly

Invoices and payments recorded in MyCase flow into the firm's accounting system automatically, so month-end reconciliation is a quick check for mismatches, not a full re-entry pass.

What's still getting typed into MyCase twice at your firm?

Tell us where intake, billing, or client updates stall right now. We'll map out which of those gaps a connection to MyCase can actually close.

Running MyCase and still bridging it to the rest of your firm by hand?

Tell us what doesn't talk to MyCase yet, your accounting software, your intake form, whatever's generating leads before they become a matter. And if MyCase isn't actually where the time goes, that's fine too. We build on top of whatever a firm already runs, this platform or any other.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MyCase?+
MyCase is cloud-based legal practice management software for matters, billing, documents, calendaring, and time tracking, built around a client-facing portal where clients can check case status, pay invoices, and message the firm directly instead of calling.
How much does MyCase cost?+
MyCase sells tiered monthly subscription plans priced per user, with higher tiers adding features like advanced reporting and workflow automation. Check MyCase's own pricing page for current numbers, since plans and pricing change periodically.
Is there a MyCase mobile app?+
Yes, MyCase has a mobile app for attorneys and staff to review matters, documents, and messages away from a desk, and clients get their own simplified mobile access to the client portal as well.
Where do clients log into the MyCase portal?+
At app.mycase.com, or through the invite link sent when the firm sets up their portal access. We don't handle portal access or support directly since we don't run MyCase itself; that's a question for the firm's MyCase account.
Does MyCase have a CRM?+
Not a dedicated standalone CRM. MyCase tracks leads and contacts tied to matters and intake, which covers basic pipeline tracking for most small firms, but it isn't built as a full marketing or sales CRM. Firms that need more than that usually run a separate CRM, and we connect it to MyCase rather than asking MyCase to do a CRM's job.
Is MyCase good for a small law firm?+
It's one of the more widely used practice management platforms specifically for solo and small firms, largely because of how much weight it puts on client communication through the portal. Whether it fits your firm depends more on practice area and workflow than firm size on its own.
