OpenCart

OpenCart Runs Your Storefront. We Build What Happens After the Sale.

OpenCart is a free, open-source e-commerce platform you install and self-host, with an extension marketplace for payment gateways, shipping, and themes on top of the base install. It handles the catalog and checkout well out of the box. What it doesn't do on its own is keep the rest of your business in sync when an order comes in, that's what we build.

What we build on top of OpenCart

Orders that post themselves. An OpenCart order becomes an invoice in QuickBooks, Xero, or your ERP automatically, with the right tax and shipping lines, instead of someone exporting a CSV and keying it in.

Inventory that doesn't drift. If you run OpenCart alongside a warehouse system, a second sales channel, or a marketplace listing, we sync stock levels both directions so a sale anywhere updates availability everywhere.

Customer and order data flowing to your CRM. A new OpenCart customer, or a customer hitting a repeat-purchase threshold, shows up in your CRM or email platform automatically instead of living only inside the OpenCart admin.

Extension and webhook data, put to use. OpenCart's extensions generate a lot of events worth acting on, a low-stock trigger, a new order status. We route those into whatever system your team actually watches.

What this looks like in practice

Manual order entry, gone

Instead of someone pulling an order report from OpenCart each morning and entering invoices by hand, each order posts to accounting automatically the moment it's placed.

Stock that matches reality

A store running OpenCart next to a physical location or a second channel gets one accurate stock number instead of two spreadsheets and a guess.

What's still manual in your OpenCart workflow?

Just two examples out of plenty. If yours looks different, tell us what it actually looks like and we'll build the specific connection you need.

Running an OpenCart store that still needs a person to move data around?

Tell us which handoff is manual right now, orders into accounting, stock between channels, customer data into your CRM, and we'll build it to run on its own. The same goes for anything else in the business that isn't OpenCart at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is OpenCart?+
A free, open-source e-commerce platform you download and self-host, built around a core install plus extensions for payment gateways, themes, shipping methods, and other features. It's a common choice for developers and small agencies building a store without a monthly platform fee.
How much does OpenCart cost?+
The software is free. Your real costs are hosting, a developer or agency for setup and ongoing maintenance, and any paid extensions or themes from the marketplace beyond what ships with the base install.
Is OpenCart good for a growing store?+
It scales reasonably well for a store with a manageable catalog and order volume, and the extension system means you can add features as you need them. The tradeoff is that you (or whoever maintains the site) are responsible for hosting performance and keeping extensions compatible as the store grows, none of that is managed for you the way it would be on a hosted platform.
Can n-frames build or set up my OpenCart store?+
No, installing OpenCart, building the theme, and configuring extensions is development work, usually handled by a developer or agency. We come in once the store is live and connect it to the rest of your business: accounting, inventory, CRM, whatever currently needs a person to bridge the gap.
