Litify's Referral Network Tracks the Referral. We Automate What Happens After.
The Litify Referral Network (LRN) is a free portal inside Litify where firms send, receive, and track case referrals, complete with a suggested fee split and real-time status on each one. Litify built and runs that network. n-frames builds what happens next: turning an accepted referral into a working matter across the rest of your firm's systems, instead of someone re-entering it by hand.
What's still manual after a referral lands
Litify's referral network handles the sending and tracking side well: a firm can refer out a case it can't take, propose a fee split, and watch the status update in real time instead of chasing it by phone or email. What it doesn't automate is everything that needs to happen inside your firm once a referral gets accepted.
Turning an accepted referral into an actual matter. Litify tracks the referral record, but opening the real matter, running a conflict check, generating the engagement or co-counsel agreement, and assigning it to the right attorney by practice area is where a lot of firms still have someone copying details from the referral record by hand.
Tracking the referral fee through to disbursement. A suggested fee split on the referral record only matters if it actually gets applied when the case settles, sometimes months or years later. We build the link between the original referral terms and the trust disbursement, so the split doesn't depend on someone remembering the original agreement.
Notifying the right people, not just updating a record. A received referral matching a given practice area or case type can route straight to the attorney who handles it, with the intake checklist already started, instead of waiting for someone to notice a new referral sitting in the queue.
What we build around referral intake
From accepted referral to open matter
An accepted referral in Litify kicks off the matter record, routes to the right attorney by practice area, and starts the intake checklist on its own, instead of someone opening each piece by hand.
Referral fee terms that follow the case to settlement
The fee split agreed on at referral stays attached through the life of the matter, so when the case settles, the disbursement gets checked against the original terms instead of someone digging up the referral record to confirm it.
What part of your referral process still runs on memory or a spreadsheet?
Tell us where referrals stall between acceptance and an actual open matter, and we'll look at what's worth automating.
Referrals landing in Litify but stalling before they become real matters?
A referral's real value shows up after it's accepted, when it turns into an open matter with the right attorney, the right checklist, and a fee split that actually gets honored at settlement. We build that part. If referrals aren't where your firm loses time, we automate whatever else is still manual, inside Litify or anywhere else in your firm.
