Omnisend's Native Apps Cover Shopify Well. Magento and WordPress Don't Get the Same Treatment.
Omnisend ships native, directly-installed connectors for Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce, syncing orders, customers, and products automatically the moment you install the app. Outside those three, there's no equivalent plug-and-play option: Magento, WordPress, a CRM, or a custom storefront all need their own path in. We build that path, so a platform without Omnisend's blessing still feeds it the same real-time order and customer data the native apps provide for free.
Which platforms Omnisend actually connects to natively
Install the Shopify app and Omnisend starts pulling orders, customers, and product catalog data within minutes, no custom work required. WooCommerce and BigCommerce get a similarly direct connection, which is why most of Omnisend's own marketing, and most of what gets searched about it, assumes you're on one of these three.
That's the whole list of genuinely native, first-party connections. Everything else, a Magento store, a WordPress site using something other than WooCommerce, a point-of-sale system, a CRM, has to get its data into Omnisend some other way, usually through Omnisend's own API directly rather than an install-and-go app.
The CRM gap shows up constantly in practice: a store wants loyalty tier, lifetime value, or account status from Salesforce or HubSpot feeding Omnisend's segments, and there's no native app for that pairing at all. Order data flows one direction, store to Omnisend, by default; getting account intelligence flowing the other way takes a real integration built on purpose.
Where a custom connection earns its keep
A Magento or custom-platform store isn't locked out of Omnisend, it just doesn't get the zero-setup experience Shopify merchants take for granted. We build the same order, customer, and product sync those three native apps provide, using Omnisend's API directly, so a non-Shopify store runs the same automations instead of being treated as a second-class integration.
For CRM data specifically, we go further than a one-way feed: account status, loyalty tier, or a flag from a support system feeds into Omnisend's segmentation, and a completed Omnisend workflow can push an update back out to the CRM in return. That's the part no native app, on any platform, handles out of the box.
What We Build on Top of Omnisend's Integrations
Magento and custom-platform sync
We replicate what the native Shopify app does, real-time order, customer, and product data, for a Magento store or a custom-built storefront Omnisend was never designed to plug into directly.
CRM data flowing both ways
Loyalty tier, account status, or lifetime value from Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM feeds Omnisend's segments, and a finished Omnisend workflow can write back to the CRM in return.
Running a platform Omnisend doesn't have an app for?
Tell us which system and what data needs to move, and we'll tell you honestly what building that connection involves.
Stuck because your platform isn't Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce?
Tell us what you're running and what Omnisend currently can't see because of it. A missing native app doesn't mean the integration is impossible, it just means someone has to build it properly instead of clicking install. And if the real gap in your business has nothing to do with email marketing at all, bring that instead; connecting disconnected systems is the actual job, Omnisend is just one place it shows up.
