Generating the document is the easy part once a template is built correctly. The document then usually needs to go somewhere, out for a signature, over to a client, into a separate file system, and that handoff is still a manual step at most firms, the same copy-paste-and-attach work the template was supposed to eliminate in the first place.
A generated document that routes itself. The moment a document finishes generating from a PracticePanther template, we trigger the next step automatically, an e-signature request, an email to the client, a save into a document management system, instead of someone opening the finished file and deciding what to do with it.
A connection where PracticePanther's API doesn't reach. PracticePanther exposes an API for matter, time, and billing data, but document-level automation past what the platform's own templates support isn't something every firm's downstream tool can plug into directly. Where that's the case, we build the connection through browser-based automation instead of waiting on an API PracticePanther doesn't expose for that specific step.
