Integrating With Sage Rarely Means Flipping a Switch.
Sage's product line spans decades, and most of its integration options reflect that: some pairings have a real, maintained connector, and a lot of others need middleware built specifically for the job. A business running Sage 50, Sage 300, or an older Accpac install usually finds out the hard way that 'does X integrate with Sage' has a different answer for every X, which is exactly why we check the real situation before promising anything.
How people usually connect Sage to other systems
For CRM, a lot of longtime Sage customers are still running ACT!, which used to be a Sage product before Sage sold it off in 2013. If that's your setup, you're dealing with two separately-owned systems now, not one vendor's integrated suite, so expect to build or buy a specific bridge rather than finding a native option.
For e-commerce, pairing WooCommerce or Shopify with Sage 300 or Sage X3 doesn't have a simple, universal plug-and-play connector the way, say, Shopify and Xero do. Some middleware tools cover parts of this, usually orders and basic inventory, but matching your specific tax setup, SKU structure, or multi-warehouse logic typically takes custom work on top of whatever the middleware provides out of the box.
For payroll, ADP and Sage don't have one universal native connection either; it depends heavily on which Sage product and which ADP service you're running, and the realistic path is usually a scheduled export/import or a direct integration built against whichever side exposes usable data access.
Where the gap actually is
The pattern across almost every Sage integration question is the same: Sage's product line is old enough and varied enough that no single integration story covers it. A connector that works for Sage 300 often doesn't exist for Sage 50, and one built for a specific Sage 50 version can break on the next one. That's not a knock on Sage, it's just what happens to any software line with this much history, and it means the realistic plan is almost always "build the specific bridge for your specific version," not "install the universal connector."
We've built this kind of bridge enough times across different Sage versions to know where the real landmines are, which fields don't map cleanly, which exports silently drop data, which versions need database-level access instead of a documented API.
What we build on top of Sage integrations
CRM-to-Sage sync for whatever CRM you actually run
Whether you're on ACT!, a newer CRM, or something industry-specific, we build the sync that gets customer and order data into Sage correctly, instead of waiting for a generic connector that may never exist for your pairing.
E-commerce and inventory feeds matched to your actual setup
We build the order and inventory sync between your storefront and Sage with your real tax rules and SKU structure baked in, rather than stretching a generic middleware tool past what it was built to handle.
Been told a Sage integration you need 'doesn't exist'?
Tell us which two systems and which Sage version, and we'll tell you honestly whether that's true or whether it just needs a custom build.
Stuck between two systems that both claim they 'integrate with Sage'?
Tell us your exact Sage product and version alongside what you're trying to connect it to, and we'll give you a straight answer on what's realistic. Sage is one of several older, version-fragmented platforms we build bridges for, so if your actual bottleneck is somewhere else, bring that instead.
