Dynamics 365 Reports on What It Holds. Not on Everything Else You Run.
Dynamics 365 includes built-in reporting for each module, dashboards and charts in the CRM apps, financial and operational reports in Business Central and Finance & Operations, plus Power BI integration for deeper analysis. Where it falls short is combining that data with numbers from systems Dynamics 365 doesn't touch, which still usually means someone exporting and stitching things together by hand.
If you're actually looking for Navision or Axapta reports
Dynamics 365 Business Central is the current name for what used to be Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Navision, and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations grew out of Dynamics AX, Axapta. If you're searching for Navision reporting or Axapta reports, that functionality didn't disappear, it carried forward into Business Central and Finance & Operations under the new names, along with most of the reporting concepts longtime users already know.
Both products can produce standard financial statements, custom report layouts, and scheduled exports on their own. Where the built-in tools stop is anything that needs to sit alongside data from a system Dynamics 365 doesn't own: a separate point-of-sale platform, a warehouse system, a different business unit running something else entirely.
What We Build on Top of Dynamics 365's Reporting
Reports that show up without anyone logging in
If a standard report means someone exports it from Dynamics 365 and emails it around every week, we automate the delivery, pulled straight from the system and sent on schedule, so that export stops being someone's Tuesday-morning task.
One dashboard, data from more than one system
When the numbers people actually check live partly in Dynamics 365 and partly somewhere else, a warehouse system, a separate POS, a different business unit's software, we build the pipeline that combines both into one place instead of two reports someone reconciles by hand.
Still assembling reports manually around Dynamics 365?
Tell us what's getting stitched together by hand right now and we'll look at whether it can run on its own.
Pulling reports out of Dynamics 365, Business Central, or Finance & Operations by hand?
Tell us what the report needs to show and where the rest of the data lives if it's not all in Dynamics 365. We'll look at what can run automatically versus what genuinely needs a person. And if reporting isn't actually the drag on your team, we're glad to look at whatever else is.
