Jira's Marketplace Covers the Big Names. We Build the Connection for Everything Else.
Jira connects to other software mainly through the Atlassian Marketplace, thousands of third-party apps, plus a handful of native integrations like the GitHub and Bitbucket dev panel and official Slack and Teams apps. It's a genuinely large ecosystem. It still thins out fast once you're past the well-known SaaS names.
What's available off the shelf
The dev panel links commits, branches, and pull requests from GitHub or Bitbucket directly to the Jira issues they relate to, letting engineers see code activity without leaving the ticket.
Slack and Microsoft Teams both have official Jira apps that post ticket updates into a channel and let you create or transition issues from a chat message.
Beyond that, the marketplace has apps covering CRMs, time tracking, and dozens of other categories, built by Atlassian partners rather than Atlassian itself.
Where the marketplace runs out
Marketplace coverage is strong for popular SaaS platforms and thin for everything else: internal line-of-business systems, a specific enterprise platform like NetSuite, Workfront, or Intercom, or an older tracker like SVN or TFS a team is migrating off of entirely.
In those cases, "integration" means someone actually builds it, usually on Jira's own REST API, since there's no app to install that already does it.
Where this shows up in practice
A direct line to a system with no marketplace app
When a business runs something the marketplace doesn't cover, an enterprise platform like NetSuite or Workfront, or an internal tool, we build the connection on the API directly.
A one-time migration done right
Moving years of tickets out of SVN, TFS, or another old tracker into Jira is a scripted migration job we run once, instead of a manual re-entry project that eats weeks of someone's time.
Can't find your platform in the Jira marketplace?
Tell us what it is and what needs to flow between it and Jira, and we'll build it.
Need Jira connected to something the marketplace just doesn't cover?
Tell us what the platform is and what should move between it and Jira, and we'll build that on the API. Jira's integration gaps are one example; whatever else in your stack is stuck without a connector is worth the same question.
