What Can You Actually Integrate With Wix?
Wix connects to other software three real ways: App Market connector apps for the common tools, Zapier or Make for simple trigger-action automations, and Wix's own REST APIs, paired with Velo, for anything with real logic behind it. Which route works depends entirely on what you're trying to connect and how much conditional logic the connection needs, and that's the part most comparisons skip.
The three real ways to connect Wix to something else
App Market connectors exist for the big names, HubSpot, Mailchimp, popular CRMs, and they handle the straightforward case well: a new Wix contact becomes a new CRM contact, a form submission triggers an email sequence. They're built for one direction, one simple sync, and they're worth trying before anything custom.
Zapier bridges a lot of the gap between 'no native connector' and 'build it from scratch,' and it's a reasonable middle ground for simple, low-volume automations without deep conditional logic. If you've seen the name Integromat, that's the same company, now called Make, and it covers similar ground.
For an ERP, a specific ecommerce platform, or a CRM without an App Market listing, the real connection runs through Wix's own REST APIs, usually paired with Velo code running inside the site itself to handle the logic a generic connector can't.
Where native connectors run out of road
A connector syncing 'new contact in, new contact out' breaks the moment you need a condition attached: route leads above a certain deal size differently, tag customers by what they actually bought, hold a sync until a manager approves it. None of that is a setting you toggle in an App Market app.
The same gap shows up with CRM and ERP integrations specifically. Wix doesn't have a deep native connection to most ERPs, and CRM connectors generally cover contact sync, not the order history, approval states, or custom fields a real sales process depends on. That's where custom work on Wix's actual APIs replaces the connector instead of sitting next to it.
And for the rare feature Wix's own API doesn't expose at all, a setting that only exists inside the dashboard UI, we build it with headless-browser automation against that dashboard directly, since the official API door simply isn't there.
What this usually looks like
CRM sync with the logic connectors skip
A new Wix order creates or updates a CRM record with the actual order history and custom fields attached, not just a name and email, with whatever routing or approval logic your sales process needs.
The ERP connection that doesn't exist off the shelf
Wix orders and inventory counts flow into an ERP system through its own API, built custom since there's no App Market connector for most ERPs to begin with.
Which tool is still disconnected from your Wix store?
Tell us which system isn't talking to Wix yet, and what's stopping a simple Zapier automation from covering it.
Found the connector that almost does what you need?
Almost is usually the point where the project gets handed to us. Describe the gap between what the App Market app does and what your process actually requires, and we'll scope whether that's a few hours of custom logic or a bigger build.
