Acumatica Tracks Inventory Across Locations. Real-Time Everywhere Else Still Takes Building.
Acumatica's Inventory module tracks stock across warehouses and bins, and its Warehouse Management System (WMS) edition adds barcode scanning, directed picking, and mobile warehouse workflows for businesses that need more than basic counts. Where it runs into real-world limits is pushing those stock levels out to every channel a business actually sells on the moment they change, rather than on whatever schedule a batch export happens to run.
What's built in
The WMS edition is a meaningful step up from basic inventory tracking: mobile device scanning for receiving and picking, license plate tracking for pallets and cartons, and directed workflows that tell a warehouse worker exactly what to do next rather than relying on memory or a paper pick list.
Multi-warehouse support is standard across both the base Inventory module and WMS, with stock tracked separately by location so a business running more than one warehouse can see exactly where any given item actually sits.
Where real-time still needs building
Storefronts and marketplaces outside Acumatica's marketplace connector list don't get stock updates automatically. Without a direct connection, they're working off whatever the last export said, which risks overselling items that have already moved or sold out.
A third-party logistics provider running its own warehouse operation has the same problem in reverse: movements happening at the 3PL need to post back into Acumatica's WMS so its own numbers stay accurate, which usually means a custom sync rather than a built-in feature.
What We Build Around Acumatica's Inventory Data
Stock levels that update the moment Acumatica changes
We connect Acumatica's inventory data to the storefronts and marketplaces a business actually sells on, so stock reflects reality in close to real time instead of lagging behind a batch export.
A 3PL warehouse kept in sync with Acumatica's WMS
When a third-party warehouse runs its own system, we build the two-way sync that keeps its movements and Acumatica's WMS data agreeing with each other automatically.
What's not syncing with Acumatica's inventory numbers right now?
A storefront, a 3PL, a scanning tool: tell us what it is, and we'll map it against Acumatica's inventory API.
Running Acumatica's WMS but still trusting a stale export somewhere downstream?
Tell us which channel or warehouse partner is working off old numbers, and we'll scope what's buildable against Acumatica's inventory API. And if inventory isn't actually your bottleneck, that's fine too, we automate whatever's manual in your business, not just stock counts.
