Home/HubSpot/HubSpot + NetSuite Integration
HubSpot + NetSuite

HubSpot Doesn't Build a NetSuite Connector. A Few Third-Party Platforms Do.

Unlike QuickBooks, HubSpot has no official, HubSpot-built sync for NetSuite. What exists instead are packaged connector apps from third-party integration platforms, sold separately, that map standard HubSpot deals and contacts to NetSuite customers and sales orders. They cover a lot of straightforward setups well. Where a NetSuite account runs multiple subsidiaries or custom pricing, those templates usually stop being enough on their own.

How HubSpot and NetSuite usually get connected

A handful of integration platforms sell prebuilt HubSpot-NetSuite connector templates, mapping a closed deal to a NetSuite sales order and a HubSpot company to a NetSuite customer record. These aren't built by HubSpot or Oracle NetSuite directly, they're third-party products, and that's worth knowing going in since support and pricing run through that vendor, not either platform.

Smaller setups often skip a connector entirely and re-enter deal data into NetSuite by hand, or export a report from one system and import it into the other on a schedule. Workable at low volume, a real drag once a sales team is closing deals faster than finance can key them into NetSuite.

Where packaged connector templates run out

A NetSuite account running OneWorld with multiple subsidiaries needs a sales order routed to the correct subsidiary and tax nexus, logic a generic template usually doesn't include out of the box. Custom pricing negotiated deal by deal, bundles that don't map to a single NetSuite item record, and approval steps before an order actually gets created all tend to sit outside what a packaged connector was built to handle.

Timing is the other common gap. Most templates sync on a schedule or a webhook trigger built for a standard case, not the exact moment your sales process actually needs the order to exist in NetSuite.

What We Built on Top of HubSpot and NetSuite

A distributor running HubSpot for sales and NetSuite OneWorld for fulfillment had a connector handling simple, single-subsidiary deals fine. Deals involving a second subsidiary, added after an acquisition, still got keyed into NetSuite by hand, since the connector had no logic for routing based on which subsidiary actually owned the customer relationship.

We built a trigger off the HubSpot deal stage change that reads the deal's subsidiary field directly and creates the NetSuite sales order under the correct subsidiary, with the right tax nexus and price book attached, the moment the deal closes. The existing connector kept handling everything else. We only built what it genuinely couldn't.

Running HubSpot and NetSuite and still keying some deals in by hand?

Tell us where the gap actually is, a second subsidiary, custom pricing, an approval step a packaged connector doesn't know about, and we'll build the piece that's missing. HubSpot and NetSuite are one example; n-frames connects whatever combination of tools your business is actually stuck bridging manually.

Questions people ask

Is there an official HubSpot integration for NetSuite?

No, not one built by HubSpot itself the way its QuickBooks Online sync is. What's available are packaged connector apps from third-party integration platforms, built to map standard HubSpot and NetSuite objects to each other.

Can a HubSpot deal automatically create a NetSuite sales order?

Yes, through a third-party connector app for straightforward cases, or through a custom integration built on both platforms' APIs when the deal involves custom pricing, multiple subsidiaries, or approval logic a packaged connector doesn't cover.

Does a NetSuite connector handle multiple subsidiaries?

Some packaged connectors offer basic subsidiary mapping, but routing logic tied to your specific OneWorld setup, tax nexus, and price books usually needs custom configuration or a custom build on top of the connector.

Is Zapier enough to connect HubSpot and NetSuite?

It can handle a narrow trigger, like notifying someone when a deal closes, but NetSuite's object model is complex enough that most real sales-order creation needs either a dedicated connector app or a custom integration against NetSuite's API directly.
