Zoho Desk Connects Well Inside Zoho. Outside It, You're Building.
Zoho Desk ships native connections to other Zoho apps (CRM, Books, Analytics, Assist) and a marketplace of extensions for outside tools like Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Trello, which covers a lot of the common cases out of the box. The moment the system on the other end isn't in that marketplace, or the logic needs more than a notification or a one-way sync, you're past what Zoho ships and into custom integration work, which is exactly what we build.
What's already connected for you
If your stack runs on Zoho, this part is easy. Zoho Desk talks to Zoho CRM natively, so a ticket can show the related deal and contact record without anyone configuring an integration. Zoho Analytics can pull Desk data in for deeper reporting. Zoho Assist plugs in for remote support sessions launched straight from a ticket.
Outside the Zoho family, the marketplace covers the popular cases: a Slack channel gets notified when a ticket comes in, a Jira issue links back to the ticket that raised it, a GitHub commit or Trello card references a ticket number. These are real, working integrations, but most of them move in one direction and carry a fixed set of fields. They tell a team a ticket exists. They don't usually carry your business logic across the gap.
Where the marketplace runs out
The gap shows up with anything the marketplace didn't anticipate: a warehouse or inventory system that isn't one of the popular names, an internal tool your business built, a CRM that isn't Zoho's and isn't Salesforce or HubSpot either, or a two-way sync where a change in Zoho Desk needs to update a field somewhere else and vice versa, not just fire a notification.
That's when it stops being a marketplace install and becomes an API integration project, built against Zoho Desk's own REST API on one side and whatever the other system actually offers on the other, including headless-browser automation when that other system doesn't expose an API for the piece you need.
What we build on top of Zoho Desk's integrations
A ticket that updates both sides
A resolved ticket about a shipping issue updates the actual order record in your fulfillment system, instead of an agent closing the ticket and separately messaging someone to make the real change.
A system the marketplace never covered
An internal tool, a warehouse platform, or a CRM the Zoho marketplace doesn't list, wired directly to Zoho Desk through its API so agents see and act on that data from inside a ticket.
What system does Zoho Desk still need to reach?
Tell us what it is and what information needs to move, and we'll scope what connecting it would actually take.
Stitching Zoho Desk to a system its marketplace never covered?
Tell us which system and what's supposed to happen between them. We'll map it against the Zoho Desk API and tell you what's a straightforward build versus what needs browser automation to reach. Zoho Desk is just the tool in front of us right now; the same gap shows up with plenty of other software, and we build that connection too.
